Private Seminars and Consulting
The Steuber Group can customize the seminars and workshops for clients as well as offer them privately. Some of the reasons for doing this include:
- More targeted and specific information for those with unique or unusual situations
- More economical when training over 6 people
- Shorter elapsed time when training everyone in the same practices
- More privacy for those in a highly competitive or security-conscious industry
The process of customizing the material in an existing seminar is very straightforward. Past engagements have required approximately a week of actual effort. (The challenge is finding time on everyone's busy schedules and minimizing the elapsed time.)
- Discuss needs and objectives of customized course
- Review material in existing seminar flagging that which should stay
- Identify other aspects that should be included
- Interview people across the organization
- Analyze information and make additions/changes to material
- Review course material with company
- Determine logistics (who, where, when, etc)
- Present overview to senior management if desired (what is covered, how it will be presented, things that can be done to reinforce the training)
- Deliver the class (or classes)
Consulting services focus on developing the professional skills of the technical staff. Mentoring programs, coaching, and approaches to enterprise-wide standards setting are some examples of past engagements.
